Final Week, Still Some Intrigue For Your Team?

My Edmonton team seemed to be dead in the water a couple games ago, having lost a head-to-head with Division-leading Pittsburgh. This was after overcoming a 1-5 start to defeat Pittsburgh the first time, splitting the series.

EDM went 5-1 until the loss at Pittsburgh. But in the meanwhile, PIT has lost two and EDM won two, and PIT is now 9-6 while EDM 8-7.

Tomorrow, EDM and PIT play inter-Division games vs the weaker teams in the Division. PIT has the stronger NJ team, EDM the BRO bunch.

If PIT loses and EDM wins, the teams will be tied in H-2-H, Div. Record, and Con. Record.

Net Points shows a 52-45 PIT advantage, but that's a TD difference. EDM has a 32-29 TD advantage and the Total Net is 285-279 in PIT's favor.

So despite everything, EDM still has a shot. Unfortunately, playing that ball-killing BRO team whose job in life is to take the air out of the ball, AND playing on the road for EDM in a must-win Division game (so yeah, the AFE screw-job comes into play quite mercilessly,) I'm not feeling confident.

But, good to still have a reason to care!

Huge TV revenues have TV execs buying new Jaguars across America to spruce up their drive ways ... Great way to close the year.

PS --- I would take the Polish Prince very seriously as fans are sitting on needles and pins. Good luck Bobr and robot looking forward to the sweet and bitter final second when women and children are broken hearted and men drink the pain away in one town as in the other the party begins until tomorrow.

PS As i understand net points within division is PF-PA / against all division rivals

EDM +15 Pit +43

This may be a tough one to over come. Edm need to net +28 to tie.

New York and Tennessee are in a showdown for the AFC South title. Winner wins the division, loser has a good shot at the wild card.

Hartford managed to make a final run to come back in the division. Miami needs to win today against Seattle to secure the division title for the second year or Hartford needs to lose. At half time, it looks like Miami gets the uncontested title for the division to make another appearance in the playoffs.

Nice win! You get the division title, I get the wild card, and our joint reward is...a rematch next week in the playoffs!

The Feds were mathematically eliminated and playing for pride. They gave the Shamans all they could handle until in the final minute of a tied game, they coughed up a 40yrd catch and run TD. Good grief! That's the second game this year the team coughed up in the final minutes

There are signs of life, however. The defense improved from terrible to merely bad. The offense found a way to average more than 19 points per game (which was almost enough to make up for the 20 points per game the defense allowed). The team was a miserable 2-4 in the division, but 7-3 against everyone else, so there is that.

Quite the comeback to win the AC North for Edmonton after their horrid start.

Now they get a home game against San Diego, who waxed them in the Tomb of Larry Talbot 49-35, with SD's QB Horne throwing for pert near 400 yards. So that sucks.

For those who remember the old bat Man (Adam West / Burt Ward) years perhaps Batman can lend you one of his convenient utilities such as his anti Wax analyzrs.

Good Luck to all and congrats to everyone on a very nice effort.
