I think they are working on the server again. It will be up and down sporatically until we go live.

I tested out a few different things on the new boards. Posting in a few forums and moving stuff around with my moderator account. And testing with one of my regular accounts.Everything seems to be functional, and damn quick too.

I appear to have full moderator ability in ALL forums on the new site with my Jet account (normally moderator Report Problems and Cap Anson League). It probably doesn't matter much for me, but it's not something I have on the local site. I tried one of my non-moderator accounts and I have no abilities on it.
Can someone else who is a moderator in any forum test if they can move/delete/top/etc threads in some forums they aren't moderator in on the new site?

You are viewing the raw post code; this allows you to copy a message with BBCode formatting intact.
I can edit posts that are in leagues other than the one i use to moderate, and the posts aren't mine, i edited Jet's testest post in the Bob Uecker league. I can also untop and top threads in other forums, as well as full admin capabilities such as prune, etc. but i can't edit in latest news/[Edited on 7-29-2004 by arodtoo]

Hey Tyson, try Ripco. They were always the best in Chicago years ago when I first started hosting web servers. Bunch of ex-hackers, similar to interaccess... except these guys never sold out or went big corporate.http://www.ripco.com/

That censored thing above is the name of one of the competitor sim baseball sites that we have had problems with recently. It is now censored here, but is not censored on the new boards. Other censors seem to work.
