Conference championship against Buffalo... historically a team that i think i have beaten maybe once before, I again entered the game thinking my number had been called and told the boys to gas up the bus. sure enough, buffalo took a fast lead with their first drive making it 7-0. Neither team scored in the second so i went into the half down by 7. With a little bit of gameplan tweaks and a little something extra in the gatorade, my team came out in the third quarter on fire, putting up 14 points in the final two quarters to finish the game 28-14.
After sitting out the wildcard round for their UNDEFEATED SEASON! Washington nursed their wounds and took extra time to gameplan for their conference championship run. After New Orleans handled the high flying Arizona team without too much difficulty, they went to Washington and were thrown around the field, never given the chance to compete.
Now Washington heads to the Sim Bowl, all eyes on the team focused on a second Sim Bowl Trophy in a row, wielding an undefeated record as an olympic torch to face off against the huge underdog the Hartford Hurricanes embarrassed of their 7-9 record but feeding on their recent victories over the division champs and 15-1 Buffalo team to fuel the fire and compete for the trophy, looking to ruin Washington's hopes of a second trophy and and perfect season.

After ending the season firmly believing that I was done and out of the playoffs, I ended up with the Wild Card seed for the conference. I was ecstatic to say the least at the opportunity to return to the post season games after missing last year but not very hopeful since i was carrying around a 7-9 record. Wild Card round was a hard fought game, taking an early lead 10-7 in the first, and adding to it 13-7 in the second. As the third ticked on by Chicago's defense returned a pick for 6 and took the lead for the first time in the game. My team came through in the clutch, with no time remaining booting a 43 yard field goal to finish the game 16-14 and move on to the conference finals!

Grats to Washington on a repeat Sim Bowl victory and a Perfect Season!!! the Sim Bowl was tightly contested all the way through the third quarter, Hartford never letting Washington get a comfortable lead. In the fourth however, Washington's defense stepped up and stopped the Hurricanes offense from getting any more points securing their victory with a couple more FG's to finish out strong. Well done and great gamePages: 1
