1956 Hall of Fame Ballot

You are viewing the raw post code; this allows you to copy a message with BBCode formatting intact.
Please only reply with your list of YES votes only. To get into the HOF, at least 12 owners need to vote (50% of the league), and the player needs to get at least 75% of the votes. If a player gets more than 20% of the votes, he will remain on the ballot next season.
Because of the stats from 2 leagues, I'll combine the totals on this page. Going forward, once we are nominating people that have only played for the ACL I will only provide the links to player pages.
Nominations are:

Walters and Ridder
I didn't vote for Doheny like everyone else for a couple of reasons. He had a losing record which means he blew plenty of saves. He had an ERA near 4 and a WHIP of 1.39.
He had 588 saves, in SimDynasty saves often are the result of the team a player was on, if they played in close games, if it was a really good team that always won a lot of games.
I very rarely vote for a closer, unless that WHIP and ERA are stellar. I really don't like a losing record, but understand how that happens with closers and have voted for a couple through all my leagues. This guy just had the saves in my opinion, not enough to be a HOF. SEE LEE SMITH - MLB

That's enough for an official vote. Would anyone else like to chime in?
