Case in point - Buffalo and NY have a nice little battle going on in the AFC East. He has a team built for balmy Buffalo and I have mine built for a dome. This season I won the division but had to play the championship game in Buffalo which turned out to be a disadvantage to me. Next year Sho can win the division, but if heīs in the bottom bracket and I am the top bracket WC he could have to come to play on my terms, a disadvantage to him. Weather is the only real advantage factor but itīs an important one now. I know if it was a competitive league it would matter to me and surely to some other players too. (you know who you are ;))

I know I brought this up before when I did it to Casper ;) but the playoff tree doesnt work well, especially for pay leagues. When a 2nd seed comes out of the bottom bracket they are the visiting team no matter who comes out of the top bracket. The point is not that there is no built in home field advantage, its that there are built in road disadvantages that a higher seeded team shouldnt have to face.
