In a game vs. an heavy running team I choose to have only run cover (outside or midlle run cover).October 22, 2014 at 08:47PM View BBCode
None of them ... look at this sequence:October 24, 2014 at 12:08AM View BBCode
Not exactly the same..... but I seem to notice a lot more blitzes than I think I´m calling, anybody else?October 24, 2014 at 10:27PM View BBCode
I get an occasional blitz even though the D scheme doesn't call for any. I mark up many aberrations in the game to probability stretching it's limits. The owner sets the original parameters, say 6 different, evenly weighted defences-17%. Then that 17% chance goes to AFE who creates choices. Now like flipping a coin, (50% chance) it can still come up heads many times in a row, so we can get multiple blitzes in a game/series. There are probably games/series with no blitzes to, over time, bring the percentage back to 17.October 28, 2014 at 08:23PM View BBCode
If no blitzes are called for at all, though, they shouldn't run. There is no automation that calls for a blitz where a defense did not specifically request one.October 28, 2014 at 08:26PM View formatted

What about this?.... setting strategies to be a run oriented team. Out of 6 options..... 4 set for running plays. Maybe a screen or play action one option. Med pass last option. Pass percentage 30% out of 100 possible. Yet passing 50% or more of the time. Taking adv strategies into account may up it a little.Pages: 1
