Single game record for rushing touchdowns?

Saskatchewan RB Buddy McMurty had 5 rushing touchdowns in this game. Strangely, he only had 79 rushing yards on the game, and he didn't even score all of the rushing touchdowns (there were 6 in the game).

Single season records updated. It looks like despite the down-turn in offenses, almost every offensive record was still broken in 1961. The only ones that really remained were the Saskatchewan QB-WR duo (Williams and Hamilton). I feel like Hamilton's records might stand for a while..

Whoops! Sorry, fixed that. I'll also try to update the playoff records today as well.

Updated for 1962.

Saskatchewan now holds records for:
? Most passing yards (Williams)
? Most rushing TDs (McMurtry)
? Most receiving yards (Hamilton)
? Most receiving TDs (Hamilton)
? Most targets (Vincent)
? Longest reception (Vincent--which surprisingly didn't go for a TD)
? Most KR TDs (Muelheuser)
? Longest kick return (Muelheuser)

That's 8 offensive players holding a combined 6 offensive records and 2 special teams records. Of course, we've gone 9-7 (division champs), 6-10 (3rd in division), and 8-8 (2nd in division). Goes to show you that individual stats aren't everything.
