Dallas finished 12-4 this season and is playing in the sim bowl right now. I was analyzing my team stats and found it interesting that we were only ranked 9th in passing yardage and 13th in rushing yardage which puts us in the lower half of the league easily for total yards gained. Somehow despite those very average stats we put the forth most points in the league up on the board.
Guess I have to credit my defense with setting us up with short fields. We were fourth in sacks, interceptions and 2nd in passes defended. Sixth in fumbles caused. We were second in points allowed.
Apparently defense does win championships because it is obvious to me that my offense was very pedestrian.

Well dammit, irishman, whatever you did, you did it right. That interception for a 99 yard TD in the fourth really hurt my feelings. Congratulations, buddy!!!

Yeah that interception was big. You were driving for the tying touchdown when that happened.
