League Change Question

It does not pertain to this league, but i need to know percentage of vote is required for a league change. Thanks

so in a 16 man league it had to be 13 yes's

sent him a msg but i always thought it was 75%/+1so in a 16 man league it had to be 13 yes's

yea the forum admin said it was 50/+1 which im about 95% sure thats wrong.

I think it's also a % of the number voting, if unanimous is not required. so if the entire league votes you'd need 12 but if only half votes you only need 6.

guy flipping out in my league because i traded 2 4th's for a 31os elite Run blocker lol, i have made some one sided trades but certainly this isnt one lol.... a certain owner in our group thanks i got the bad end of the deal lol, but this guy is dead set on posing a cap because he thinks some how it will create balance and stop bad trades.

yeah I think the whole thing is pretty hilarious. (not being in the league I can do that.) the guy is getting so worked up he wants to change the salary cap level over a deal where I think riley probably overpaid by a 4th rounder. :lol:

yea hes dead set that bringing a cap, will balance the league out....... I think i and shbo already posted it would do the exact opposite lol o well. I voted no because i built my roster for it the way it was but o well.

The overriding rule is that we don't like to change the rules out from under the feet of people who paid for a league based on the set of rules that was in place when they bought in. So for most things I impose a 66% or 75% majority, where if the vote isn't unanimous, implementation is delayed a couple of real-time months to allow those who disagree time to decide whether to renew under the new rules or not.
I am not sure I would use a salary cap to try to force trade equity. Trades are inherently unbalanced; it is the law of supply and demand, and no two players are ever absolutely equal. To get a valuable piece from another owner, you almost are REQUIRED to overpay because you need to make it worth his while to give up his bird in the hand for your two in the bush.

well here is the original post, im not sure thats how it goes lol..... He just decides what percent and how much it would be lol. Just wanted to call attention to it, because the entire thing doesn't seem to follow any sort of pecking order.
The reason im so apposed to it because as stated i signed up for the league, with a certain salary cap. The team was horrible and took there loses, then we built a power house and hes trying to reset it now.... Just doesnt seem just to me. anyways thanks for getting back to me Chris

he's good entertainment, if nothing else. besides, anyone who's willing to give me a 2nd for a 30+ one-dimensional OL is welcome in my league anytime.
