Went better than I thought. I should have ranked QB better. I got the best QB in the draft but he is filling out is AARP paperwork in the team meetings.

I had the #2 Pick in the Kicker Round, and now he is on the Trade Block to cut down on salary.

I'm right there with you. I've gone from 23k over the cap to less than 10k over, but still a lot of work to be done. Feel free to send me offers to help cut down on salary.

? The QB I got was older than I would have liked.
? I'm really happy with my receiving corps, with the oldest of the top 4 being 25.
? Landed one of the all-time greatest Sim Dynasty football players according to name, and he's not that bad of a player either, especially at tight end: Dick Waddy.
? I got my sleeper at center, and he'll be playing between a pair of guards that will be starting for possibly the next decade.
? Our defensive tackle haul wasn't the greatest, but Spani should be a solid player. McCorvey, if I can keep him with salary concerns, will be an absolute beast.
? The linebackers turned out better than expected, though I don't usually like to spend this much on them. We'll see how this goes.
? My corners have no speed. That's what I get for focusing on other positions. I expect everyone to pass for 400 yards against us.
? Safety was a good first pick, but that's about where it ended. We'll see. Again, defensive backfield wasn't my focus.
? The kicker has already been cut because of salary, but I've got a pair of punters (one of whom is a backup QB as well).

San Antonio is about 60k under the cap if anyone is looking to deal. I could use a pass blocker specifically but always looking for good secondary pieces.

Buffalo's draft strategy more or less worked out just as we had hoped. I intentionally bid lower than normal on the O-line as I felt it was easily the deepest position group out of the initial draft and the deepest crop of youngsters coming out in the next 2 seasons.

I believe we ended up with the deepest secondary (no true SS)
and the most explosive core of WR's. I also am really happy with our starting front 7 but we have no depth behind them at all.

All and all I ended up with a roster a can work with.

I feel like i have a good group of OL. Not the greatest but definitely should be respectable. Skill positions on offense lack that wow factor but with the right system, i think they can be effective.

Defensively we are definitely better. I haven't looked at everyones roster but i feel we may have a top 2 or 3 unit. There isn't much depth overall in the league so everyone is in the same boat there. Cant really complain except i wish i had 1 more LB and 1 more CB/S. Im curious as to see how they play together.

Charlotte Reapers are reasonably happy with the draft. I don't see any glaring holes.

The good; good young qb with A potential and attitude. Good pass blocking o-line. Strong d-line. Competent rb's, wr's, and LB's. Not crazy about the secondary but I don't think it's a weakness.

I expect we'll have some ups and downs the first couple of seasons as our young qb has some growing pains but I think we have a recipe for long term success in Charlotte.

Your team is pretty solid other than the secondary. Pat Ray is your 2nd best CB you might want to bring him to the active roster once the exhibition season is over. This draft blew so every team has holes and some depth issues somewhere.

i went really really young, and yea i was going to play ray at CB in the 4/3 sets i just had younger guys on the roster.

The Trojans should be ok. I like the team speed and think we are strong enough. Would have liked to get younger QB but heŽll do for now and I think we found him some play-makers. The offensive backfield is going to be mix and match but I think weŽll find a way to run the ball a little despite the early predictions (you know who you are KLKRTR) ;).

Defensively we should be able to get to the QB and I like the secondary a lot. This should be a good league, there are no softies in the AFC East so now its time to coach Žem up and play. Looking forward to tomorrow to see how the whole thing looks.

I went too low in my bid for QB and it certainly shows. None of my QBs can throw a pass further than 20 yards! Devising a system to fit that issue will be an interesting challenge. :)

could have been worse. very happy with the OL, which was a priority. the LBs surprisingly look pretty solid and the QB position went as well as I could have hoped. we're thin in the secondary, but that seems to be a common theme for everyone so maybe it won't hurt as much as I think. the DL and WR corps could use a boost. we'll take it, I guess.

We're finally under the cap and even might have some space to make a move or two from the waiver wire.

We'll see what turns up, but I'm expecting 6-10 this season.

No real complaints from San Antonio. We built up a strong line and have a pretty good secondary. We also stayed relatively young although will certainly be looking QB in the next draft.
