Ihad the same thng happen to me in another league. Ichecked it has happened3 times in mlb in history, in the 70s, the 90s, and the 1890s

My last year in organized baseball (age 17), we were up 9-2 in a late season game. I was playing catcher and in the 7th inning we started getting shellacked. Every pitch I called for got hit so hard I thought the ball would be flat on one side. Pretty humbling, we ended up losing 16-9. It is somehow comforting to know it has happened in the bigs before.
