current conditions for today's game between MIL and NE: 40 degrees, rain and thirty-one mile per hour wind. NE has already determined that they had less than a 50% chance at a FG from the MIL 5 and went for it on 4th down instead, unsuccessfully. the extra point kick on their TD went wide right by 3 feet, so they probably made the right call!

second verse, same as the first- NE's second TD is immediately followed by an extra point missed right by three feet. also, MIL's 32 yard FG attempt missed wide right by 12 feet. that's some wind!

NE returns the opening kick of the second half for a TD and kicker Shane Lenkaitis, wait for it, promptly misses the extra point- 3 feet wide right. on the bright side, MIL's George Pasquarielo managed a 32 yard FG for the first successful kick of the game.
