Jesse Fischer Notches 600th career save

Jesse Fischer notched his 600th career save with a 2 -inning, 1-hit, stint protecting the NY Highlanders' 2-1 victory over the Minnesota Twins on May 1, 2012. Adding in a couple of successful subsequent outings, Fischer now stands at 11 saves for the season with a 0.39 E.R.A. in 23 innings over 16 appearances. Fischer has won 6 Fireman of the Year awards, a Cy Young, and has been named to 13 All-Star teams. He is 5th all time in the CCL in career saves.[Edited on 7-26-2014 by LTJaeger]

I believe he WILL be a first ballot HOFer!!! I know I will putting him up for voting 5 years after he retires.

Looking back at his career, I see that he was a 2nd round draft pick that I got from you originally. We should make more trades like that. :-)

Hope he makes it. When I took over the Highlanders, they already had the CCL's all-time greatest reliever in Paul Riss, so Fischer had some big shoes to fill. He's been great for me.
Looking back at his career, I see that he was a 2nd round draft pick that I got from you originally. We should make more trades like that. :-)
