CHI Tony Erickson became the 9th player in TRL history to reach the 500 HR mark.

Best player in TRL history... IMO... which might be a bit slanted due to having drafted, developed, and rode his shoulders to 4-consecutive TRL WS titles.
500 doubles, 500 HR, 100 triples, 400 SB... though he hasn't been quite as much of a run producer since heading over to Piers' team. 5 30-30 seasons.... 5 MVPs... and has only missed 1 AS game since he made his debut.
If he somehow does not retire after this season, he will undoubtedly reach the 3000 hit mark.

I'd agree with your claim of GOAT Deep, however, Babe Bridger and Danny Shannon give Tony a run for his money
I would love it if he didn't retire and could go for 3000 hits. Even though he's been in the twilight of his career since he came to Chicago, I'm proud to have him play on my team.

Yeah, I have had a couple of other guys who could challenge him as well in Matrim Cauthon and Richard Rahl. Bart McCool would be up there as well, but with him you're talking about a guy who played before there were heavy decline settings. Heck, he still has ratings of B+/A B/A- at the age of 76!
Wes Covington ranks pretty high up there as well.

Oh, I totally forgot about those guys. They were killers from a few years back in this league. Who was winning the MVP all those years over Matrim? 14 All Stars and no love in the MVP voting.
From a pure slugger standpoint, I'll also throw in Stan Van Molson. If we had virtual steroids in this league, I would have gotten him some Barry Bonds type numbers lol
