Brent Pope gets 250th Win

250 Wins for a Pitcher in the Joe Jackson League is a HUGE milestone. Only 15 pitchers have done it thus far.
Brent Pope of the St. Louis Browns is now tied for 14th in All-Time Wins, and will look to move up the chart. 300 Wins has proven a most difficult milestone to reach as only 3 pitchers have made it thus far.
Other active pitchers close to the 250 mark are:
Abe Delgado, BAL 244
Brett Winstead, STL 236
Pete Taylor, STL 228
Ben Derhover, CLE 210
Brent Pope is one of the TRIPLETS, the name given to the incredible tandem of St. Louis Browns starters Pope, Winstead, and Taylor. They have dominated the NL for over a decade. They have received 7 consecutive Cy Young awards. Four for Pope, Two for Winstead, and One for Taylor. Youngster Dean Harris (11-1) of the Browns is threatening to end their streak but keep it in the Browns family. There is still a long way to go and there are several other pitchers in the league who are looking forward to ending that streak.

After scoring 2 runs in 3 games, I can tell you, these guys still got it. Wouldn't surprise me at all if each of them win 300. At least they would if they faced the NightCats all the time, they've owned me.
