Who would you choose as the world series MVP?

I won the series in 6 games.
One guy got 11 hits! (11 for 24). Not only that, but he had 8 walks (as a leadoff hitter) for an OBP of .665. 3 doubles, 1 SB. Scored 4 runs and knocked in 2.
Another guy was a pitcher who threw two shutouts, one of them being a 1-hitter with no walks.
I am inclined to give it to the pitcher, because as amazing as the hitter was, you just don't see anyone throwing two shutouts in a world series.

If the pitcher threw a shutout in game 6.. clinch game.. then I go with him.
If he didn't I'd consider a 'co-MVP' scenerio.
Let them both 'win'

Generally in a vacuum I'd have to give it to the pitcher. That performance gives any team the chance to win half the games required for a championship.
2 RBI's and 4 runs, regardless of the other great hitting numbers, doesn't generally make for an MVP.
Now if it was a real close scoring series, without a lot of big hits, and maybe some of those runs or RBIs were game winners, then co-MVP.

That's a real good point now that I think about it.

The pitcher threw a shutout in game 6 to close out the series. In general it was a pitcher's series with a lot of 1-run games.
