During the 1997 season Santana broke the single season record for wins with 29 and strikeouts with 254. He also tied the single season record for shutouts with 9. He ranked 16th in ERA with a 1.84. One of the top performances I have seen in the league.
The only way it could of been better was with a ring. Thanks to the Reds for ruining that. :mad:

I didn't even expect to make the playoffs, but was hoping to get a ring for all my vets who haven't won any. Like Heath Williams, Steven Standberg, Sled LaRue, Hy Foster, Chuck Tucker, Pedro Gerelli, all of who rank right up there with the Buffalo Bills at 0-4, not to forget Ron Sweeney who is 0-5
