Paul Whitman, Baltimore, has 502 H.R.s [5th all-time] and is 8 R.B.I.s away from 1800 [4th all-time with a great shot at 2nd]
Corky Cathey, Cleveland, Has gone over 3000 hits this year, and has jumped into the all-time top ten. He's now 8th all-time with 1770 runs.
Kent Tekulve, Anaheim, has gone over 400 saves earlier this season.
Charlie Grimes,Cleveland, is the #1 S.B. leader in league history and is about to become the only player with over 700 steals.
Steve Best, St. Louis, has gone over 600 S.B.s, and is now #7 all-time.
We should probably get the current HOF up to date so we can rightfully enshrine these greats when their own time comes. Congratulations to these players and their owners on a job well done.

Best and Pope are extremely close.
TeKulve may have some work to do yet since this is a stats thing and there 6 relievers with 500+ saves (and four of them have to be elected yet)

In my opinion... Whitman, Cathey, and Grimes are shoe-ins.Best and Pope are extremely close.
