I Formation Passing?

I know that play action passes can come out of I formation but what else? Short passes? I saw a couple passes on one of my teams today that were thrown out of I formation that didn't display the 'fake handoff' message.

my understanding has always been that a "non-shotgun" pass has a more or less equal chance of being pro-set or I. i can't guarantee that's correct but that's what i've understood.

yea i havent noticed any difference. Pro set seems to be used a bit more but the actual plays used seem about the same.

Do you mean Iform+Pro or just Iform? Screen passes go out of there, and I believe (if your QB has to make progressions) it might not come up as a screen because he had to look elsewhere.

You can have Short, Medium, and Long Passes can come out of the I-Formation that I am aware of.

and sideline passes too. everything but shotgun passes, really, can be run out of the I. also, everything other than shotgun passes can be run out of thepro-set.
