Welcome to the CCL robmb. This is only my 2nd season in the CCL. I think you will enjoy the competition.........Are you a Mets fan ? If so, it is great to see your team (in the Major leagues) getting back on track. My wife is from NY and a Mets fan. I am a lifelong Phillies fan....Go Phillies !

Welcome robmb! Only my second season here in CCL as well. I'm a lifelong Orioles fan and hope they turn things around in my life time yet ha ha .. it has been a long drought.

Actually I live in the Bay Area now, but grew up in NJ as a Mets fan, so I still keep an eye out on them.
Jonathan8: Looks like your Phillies are getting closer to getting Howard and Utley back. Bad news for the Mets :)

Thanks All! I appreciate the welcome and look forward to figuring this game out. My only saving grace is that I inherited a good team, now all I have to do is keep from driving it into the ground while I learn :)Actually I live in the Bay Area now, but grew up in NJ as a Mets fan, so I still keep an eye out on them.

robmb...............Yeah, the Phillies could use Howard and Utley asap. The Mets are on the rise. Santana looks sharp too. It's good to see the Mets-Phillies rivalry revived.................Sim Dynasty Baseball is more challenging and involved than I had imagined. I think you will enjoy the challenge. Good Luck !

Yes there is a Mets-Phillies rivalry. Lots of Mets fans travel to Philly to watch the teams played there and Lots of Phillies fans travel to NY to attend the games played there......Of late the rivalry has declined with the Mets poor play due to ownership issues, injuries etc......With the Mets improvement of late and the Phillies poor play, the rivalry seems revived. Which is great.

I've always thought Pleasanton was appropriately named....a VERY pleasant area; rolling hills, oak trees, nice weather, etc.
