1986 Record Breakers

March 12, 2012 at 03:06PM View BBCode

Not sure if everyone checks out the players notes in the news section or not but quite a few RKL records has fallen during the 1986 season.

Leon Reagan becomes the new steals leader with 637. (Retired)
Charlie Knepper holds the IP's record with 4309.2. (Active)
Don Money holds the RBI record with 1730 and counting. (Active)
Fred Dale keeps smacking the doubles with 565. (Active)

On a side note Fred Dale became the 7th player in RKL history to get his 3,000th hit.

Congrats to all of the players and their owners.

Yes, congrats to my long time Milwaukee players. And both came back to build on those records and maybe reach a few more milestones!!

Don Money is so close to getting 500 home runs (474), and is currently 3rd all-time in our league. I think he will make it past Bill Cheney(484) to get into 2nd but I don't think he'll get to 500 without some help from Barry Bonds old trainer.

Fred Dale is 7th all-time in hits(3057), has a shot at 2nd place, but Lebradford Hines still has a stong hold at that 1st place spot with 3404.

Charlie Knepper is on the verge of setting a few other records, strikeouts, games started, hits allowed, and with a little luck can be second in the wins category, but I think he would trade it all for an opportunity at the post season, his window is closing fast!!!
