11.1 No Hit innings

By Jim Buchanan against my weak hitting Bombers. But it wasn't enough as Jerry Boone hit a HR in the bottom of the 12th as the Bombers beat the Fire 1-0.

Yep, he's been a hard luck pitcher his entire career. Been on a playoff contender most oh his career is B+/B+/A+ but is only about 30 games over .500 with 125 wins. You would have expected more from him.

great game too bad he didnt win it.
i've had a few pitchers like that pitch great and get no run support, lose it or the relief pitcher comes in for a third of a inning and gets the win :rolleyes:

Those "weak hitting Bombers" have rebounded nicely, making the first two games of the series against my Bohs as glorified batting practice sessions, a bunch of crooked numbers and 9 runs in each of the first two games. I am guessing the Bombers hitting coach lit a fire under them hehehe

Must have been a wake up call. They were no-hit earlier in the season too.
