The following trade is being voted on in the Mookie Wilson League:<br /><br />A trade has been completed between the Brooklyn Jacks and the Baltimore Oreos. The Baltimore Oreos receive Draft Pick - 2013 Round 1 (BRO) from the Brooklyn Jacks in exchange for Draft Pick - 2012 Round 1 (BAL). <br /><br />Please do not comment on this trade if you are in the league or have any other vested interest.

Baltimore gets a first round pick in 2013 for a first round pick in 2012
Baltimore was a 100 win team last year and looks solid again this year meaning that their 2012 pick should be end of the round. Project it 10 or later.
On the other hand Brooklyn was a 100 game loser last year. THe pick however is 2 years out and Brooklyn should be better by that point. They picked 3 or 4 last year depending on the tiebreak but in two years ought to be more of a 6-8 range which is a better pick than Baltimore's but there is both a gamble on the depth of the draft and some planning onto when CPs will be available.
Its likely not a deal I'd have made but I'm not sure that I'd reverse it either. I tend to let owners run their teams in situations where they have reasons for what they do and I assume that Brooklyn wants the picks this year rather than next for some reason.
