Odd QB substitution

In Beta Game 2 today, the LA starting QB shows 90% conditioning, and he came out midway through the opening drive, less than 5 minutes into the game. Is it possible he fell that low that fast to need replacing? It doesn't appear to have anything to do with formation settings, and he wasn't hurt ...

I hate to give away strategy but it is a testing league. That team's Sub Out setting at QB is set very high.
