On the opening drive of [url=http://footballbeta.simdynasty.com/boxscore.jsp?boxscoreid=5062&thid=497]this game[/url] Washington opens in the I for the first three plays, a pass and two runs. Then we switch to a run out of the pro set and on the next play, in the pro set, NY "Keys in".September 12, 2011 at 06:57PM View BBCode
I have a question about that as well. I have "End Run" selected with a 27% probability on 3rd and Medium, and yet I had two instances in the first half against HOU that we tried to run it against a keyed in defense on 3rd and medium. My understanding is that if a play is going to be keyed against, the offense gets 3 more chances to pick a different play. I realize that it is possible for an "End Run" to be selected there, but it is so unlikely as to be mathematically absurd that it occured twice in the same half.September 12, 2011 at 06:58PM View BBCode
Rooster, I'm pretty sure that it just looks at whether 3 of the past 5 plays were "middle" or "end" runs. I don't think that the formation matters at all.September 12, 2011 at 07:05PM View formatted

There was a False Start penalty on one of the prior plays that halted the play. Whatever that play was going to be is added to the list of "recent plays", which is a bug since the play never started. I'll need to fix that.Pages: 1
