What an insane quarter

Things looked pretty good for the Sons of Riggo with a 24-3 lead over the Spiders after three quarters.
After that, things got a little tricky.

Yeah three turnovers and zero stops, just a little frustrating. We are 2-4 with the 5th best +/- in the league and keep finding new and interesting ways to lose.
Still don't understand the QB fumbling on hand offs so often, does this really happen frequently in the NFL ?
Seems to me most fumbles in the NFL are the result of contact .

I will see if I can pull some stats on this so we can look at it objectively vs. subjectively.

That's the Spiders 3rd game in the rain of 4. Thru 3 the Sons were cruising on the strength of 2 red zone ints, 1 a pik 6.
Then the mystical miscreant, Hu Flung Pu appeared [it wasn't evenly distributed] and turned Clime into a cross between Fumblina and a pumpkin. 1 int, 2 fumbles, 1 by contact and 2 sacks led to 31 unanswered pts. This is more pts than I've ever seen scored in a qtr.
Thru 5 games, the Spiders had 5 sacks and 1 FF. Wildman had quite a day, 4 sacks and 2 FF.
Sorry, TR. I write because, were the positions reversed, I would be incapable of anything but sputtering. Kudos for being able to post so calmly.

Had I been in TR's position, I might have been unable to write because of the boot stuck in the monitor.

 Yeah, I'd have been out for the season due to lack of interface.

Haven't been able to find anything on RB handoff fumbles exactly though.
