I'm curious, I've never seen a single post bring up the censor, which seems odd. Has anyone run into the censor when naming a player or team? Has it tried to censor something it shouldn't or not censor something it should?

I've been censored a few times on innocent things like 'rooster o' the walk'.
If you really need to curse, just change a letter.

Well I censored have, but there are ways around it.
