Has anyone noticed how close the playoff races are?

The American Conference has two 9-5 teams and four 8-6 teams. San Diego might still have a prayer at 6-8, but I'm not sure. The teams ahead of them play each other, so maybe there's no scenario for SD to make the playoffs.

I'm not sure if Arizona has clinched anything yet at 10-4, but there are five teams in the hunt for the other two spots.

Bottom line is almost everyone is in the race with 2 games to play. That's exciting.

The Geese aren't in the race...

But I knew that was going to happen. I drafted for future potential.

I have to be honest, while the races are good, the game itself (maybe its just become harder and we´ll figure it) has become so conservative. Its boring (except the part where you wait to be intercepted)

Is anyone else having the RZ issues I am? MY QB is a disaster. When he´s not throwing picks in the RZ he´s taking sacks. Part of that is my OL, I?ve had a lot of turnover due to injury and incompetence but we´ve just been horrible

So did I, actually. I was comparing the improvements for all the teams, and mine has quite a bit more than anyone else and about double what some teams do.

This is uncharted territory, though. I don't know how good some of these guys will get and how talent inflation will work itself out.

I need the Corsairs to pull off a miracle in week 17 for a shot at the wild card.

So we have five teams at 9-6 in the AFC. LV is playing Houston, so we'll be deciding the division winner on the field.

The three teams in the East play different opponents, so who knows what will happen? We could easily have 4 teams at 10-6, with someone getting home field and someone getting left out.

All I know for sure is that if I win, I'm in. If I lose, chances are not good at all. Our first game with Houston went to OT, so it should be exciting!

You have around 100 more improve than my team...but you also have more chances than I do. Your guys must have better attitude or be younger than mine (or both).

Does anyone know what the tiebreakers were for the playoffs?

I'm sure I saw it in a thread sometime, but it should go in the Game Guide, too.

1) Record.

2) Head to Head record.

3) Head to head point differential.

4) Net point differential.

I think that is how it is supposed to go, but something isn't working right in the head to head point difference.

So how did it break the 3-way tie? Hamilton was 3-1 in head-to-head against NY and Cle. Cle was 2-2, NY 1-3.

Presumably all it does is determine a winner of the 3-way tie, Hamilton, then the other two revert to a two-way tiebreaker. In this case, I see that they split, but NY had better point differential in their games.

And I see that Hou beat Ham in the regular season to get home field.

OK, that pretty much all makes sense then.

Where did head-to-head point difference fail to work?

I don't think we had to use head-to-head point difference this season. It had CLE listed ahead of me for a while during the season though. We were 1-1 and I had a +1 point difference, but CLE was showing the tie-breaker in their favor. Chris knows about it. He may have fixed it.
