Depth chart question
July 26, 2011 at 10:02PM View BBCode
When you send a player down to Inactive with an injury and then bring him back up, is he supposed to return to all his previous spots on the depth charts?
Or do you have to rerank him on each depth chart again?

Hmm... good question.
If you haven't changed your charts, he will reappear wher he was, but any chart that has been edited he will fall off of.
At one time inactive players showed up on the depth charts but it was confusing so I took them off. But you should be able to send someone to inactive without having to redo everything, since there is an inordinately large number of depth charts to manage. Not sure what the best thing to do about that is.

Well in some cases they are going to change.
For instance, I had two RB get hurt and called up two from inactive. I added the new guys to the depth charts in the right places, as makes perfect sense.
What would be really preferable is to have inactive players stay on the depth charts so anytime they went up or down they would not be affected.

Maybe the solution is to include them but grey the rows to indicate clearly that they are not active.

I would be in favor of that.
Having to go back to all these formation-specific charts every time I make a roster move is really time-consuming. Plus I am likely to forget something.

I think that would be the best solution by far
