A couple of very exciting long yardage plays by the River Cats give them a 14-7 lead at halftime:
With 6:08 left in the 2nd quarter, HB Ernie Law runs up the right for a 50 yard gain,
and with 2:48 left FS Leslie Borelli intercepts a pass at the SAC 36 and returns it to the end zone for a TD!

It was a miracle! And it lasted approximately 5:13...then Colorado scored the go-ahead TD, never to be caught again! :D
Not the most efficient outing Colorado has ever had, but I was running out of options and had to borrow my Beta League strategy..
Also, did anyone else notice, that in Week 11, it's November 11, 1963. Of course, if there is a Week 11 in the NFL this season, I wonder, would it be on November 11th? Week 11 on 11/11/11...
Toledo managed to eek out another win past Dallas..
New England found its groove again after playing Los Angeles (who hasn't this season?)
Chicago very nearly won again, but San Fran won to keep in a tie with COL for the division lead.
Philly's offense got stomped by Baltimore (the only team that scored fewer points is Hamilton).
Sacramento's big plays won the game for them against Oakland.
Houston continued its hot streak (season?) against Calgary.

Dallas and Toledo were tied 14-14 with 1 min left. Toledo has the ball at midfield but has used up its timeouts. The Dallas defense then begins calling all 3 of their timeouts so Toledo could complete their drive and kick the game winning FG with 25 seconds left. This game should have went to OT.

Pretty sure dirtdevil planned it that way...I don't think he had found that specific way to lose yet...that sucks for him though..

Altho Oakland scored 7 in the 4th quarter to tie, the River Cats managed to score one more TD and win the game with a 21-14 final score. This is the 5th win for the River Cats this season, which tops last season's total of 4 wins, and we still have an outside chance at the wildcard spot!

i can't figure out any way to stop that. the settings for time outs on D are just "when behind by x or less" unfortunately, unless i set x to 0, tied is always less than x.
