are you guys planning on giving team defensive stats?

Better than that, individual stats are also in development. So far we have interceptions, sacks, pass defenses and forced fumbles. Tackles is the big one in the works.

There are some issues with the way certain events unfold that has prevented me from being able to accurately record certain defensive stats; as redcped noted, Tackles is the worst offender. But we are working on it.

any chance we could move over what you already have, or does it need to be an all at once move?

They don't have to be moved all at once, but the page just doesn't look "right" without tackle stats. Still, you are probably right that incomplete stats are better than no stats.

Defensive stats (minus tackles, safeties and stuffs) are now available.

I must tell you, it's amazing witnessing the development of this game! Every single bit you add seems to take the thing to a whole different level! Def stats are great, as well as fumble stats, which I had missed out so far. I still don't get many nuances of the playing and coaching side, but this is a gas all the same! Thanx Chris

are opponent pass yards, pas yards per attempt, completion%, rushing yards, and rushing yards per attempt coming?

You are viewing the raw post code; this allows you to copy a message with BBCode formatting intact.
I want to second Williams question. Picks and fumbles are fine but I want to be able to look at a defenses strengths and weaknesses when deciding on an offensive plan.

Could we also see total points scored and total points allowed somewhere? maybe even on the standings page, if not somewhere in stats

That would also be nice.

Let's not forget individual defensive stats. Much more important to the owner, I think, than team defensive stats.

How so? They are nice, certainly, but knowing how the whole unit performs against different strategies is incredibly helpful information when creating a game plan.

Individual stats help determine who is performing within that unit, and who is not. It is not always obvious by skill ratings or team stats alone.

Duh. Using players statistics to adjust your own defensive lineups had simply not occurred to me.

I would still prefer to have the overall performance stats to help with game plans, but what you say makes a lot of sense to.
