Punting averages still wrong.

In the first half of the conference final Ed Kercheval has three punts:63 yards(touchback), 28 and 71(touchback) but the boxscore shows him with a 41.7 yard average and a longest punt of 54 yards.
Even if you deduct the touchback yardage, which you shouldn't, it's wrong as the average then would be 40.7 and the longest 51 . Maybe the rounding accounts for the average but certainly not the miscalculation of the longest.

It's cropping at the goal line and then deducting touchback yardage, so if a 70 yard punt takes the ball 5 yards into the end zone, it's recorded as 45 yards.
Researching this, it looks like this example punt should be recorded as a 65 yard punt, and to avoid confusion it should also be reported as a 65 yard punt even if the ball travels farther.
(I have not been able to find a good source for actual stat-keeping rules, and they are not in my printed copy of the ruleboog which only covers on-field rules.)

Here's another problem in the stats: Yards added by bouncing weren't being accounted for.
