Loading strategies

When loading saved strategies, do you find yourself wishing you could load from your other strategy pages, i.e. load your base (green zone) strategy into your 2-minute strategy and tinker with it?

I hide strategy settings from other tabs to avoid confusion, but I know when setting up the Abusers I kept wishing I could cross-load. What do you all think?

Yes, plus of course we'll need to be able to transfer strategies from one team to another the way we do manager preferences in baseball .

Mine are all pretty different..the only thing I regretted was switching my stuff over from the real site to Beta, but that's done now.

You are viewing the raw post code; this allows you to copy a message with BBCode formatting intact.
I would use a cross-load option. (Rooster - we can already use our settings on any teams we have. I used this a lot on the real site when I had 3 teams at once over there.)

I'd like at least the option to show the other saved strategies. Maybe have it turned off by default, but I could see it being useful.

OK... so a "show strategies from other tabs" checkbox, and when it's checked you see your other strategies with an identifier in parentheses, so your list would look like this:

* Pass Attack 1
* Run Attack 1
* Balanced Attack 1
* Default (R)
* Default (R2)
* Default (Y)
* Default (G)
* Default (G2)
My green zone strategy
My red zone strategy (R)
My other red zone strategy (R)

Or would that become unwieldy?

To transfer a strategy all you have to do is save it; then you can load it from the corresponding tab on any of your teams, free or paid.

I'm wondering how hard it would be to set up a similar system on the baseball side.

That looks about like what I had in mind. As long as it has that checkbox, I don't think it matters if it's a little unwieldy.

I like that checkbox idea...I just know I wouldn't use it since I name my strategies based off of the week I use them so I will have multiple strategies with the same name.

I would really like this option.
