Hi all. I am currently in preseason week 2. What do the drill categories A C D F K S W stand for? Also, what is a reasonable general strategy for applying these? Thanks very much.March 03, 2011 at 11:06PM View BBCode

I think that there is a good explanation of the drill categoried in the Game Guide posted under the Help tab. (Sorry, I can't access it at the moment to post the link.)March 03, 2011 at 11:24PM View BBCode
OK, that looks really bad since it is 12 minutes after DirtDevil posted the link. I clicked this post to read it at about 6:00, in my pathetic defense.March 06, 2011 at 09:29AM View BBCode
Do these drills work. I've been trying to discipline my entire offensive line, and I got 3 false starts in the 1st quarter today?March 06, 2011 at 03:58PM View BBCode

also, there are always going to be negative outcomes. even the best players screw up on a semi-regular basis.March 06, 2011 at 05:37PM View BBCode
and regardless of what happens in a single quarter, it it to small a sample to mean much at all.March 06, 2011 at 10:05PM View BBCode

False Starts are designed to occur approximately 2.5 times per game. In 10,194 games we have had 29,648 False Starts which is 2.9 per game, so I will reduce them by 15%.March 07, 2011 at 08:06PM View BBCode
Actually it looks like False Starts average about 2.6-2.8 per game in the NFL, so I'll split the difference and aim for 2.7.Pages: 1
