It looks good, much more in-depth than baseball, but that could be a bad thing too. They break everything down so far, that I am unsure as to how it will all play out. I liked having some aspects of the game being hidden within certain stats. Like how "Arm" in baseball also means how good a pickoff move the pitcher has. It seems that here in football they get a specific grade for every possible thing a player can do.April 25, 2011 at 01:40PM View BBCode
Curious....Why is salary a consideration? I feel that only complicates things.April 26, 2011 at 01:51PM View BBCode

WR catching is #1 They need not be fast, as a Slot receiver ( Wes Welker). Of course speed helps, as well as execution. Other positions require different attributes. Much as a 1st baseman doesn't need a good arm.

I understand why they chose to make it more in depth... I am just curious as to whether or not it is really needed...April 28, 2011 at 11:35PM View BBCode
I know there itching to roll out Dynasty Leagues and make some money, but honestly! The game still has to many bugs in it for me ie clock mgmt etc...plus they are going to have to really do alot more with coaching strategy depth and play calling before I would consider the dynasty...JMHO!April 29, 2011 at 03:43AM View BBCode

Hands is more for ball handleing QBs need good hands, snaps, hand offs etc. Snappers, punts should have good hands. If 2 players go for a fumble the 1 with the best hands etc. aggression, is blurry..A player that is very aggressive might jump off sides alot. A QB may force passes where he shouldn't also can mean how vicious he hits.More Aggressive CBs would get more INT, but maybe more penalties. There is alot of good info in message boards and the Game Guide...GoodLuck hope that was a help.

Do I need to know the Throwing ACC of a Guard?
What is the difference between hands and catching?
What does agression mean?
I think they could have simplified it a bit more is all...

So if hands is more for ball handling, then what is carrying for? They could have done away with Hands, and just go with catching and carrying...Madden has for years...May 02, 2011 at 09:55PM View BBCode

Aggression and execution are stupid. period. Those are so grey that will either of those categories ever sway your opinion on whether to get a guy or not? Will you not take a stud that doesnt have good execution or aggression or take a bum because he does? No, so who cares.
IMO, there is too many things to try and focus on and I think it could be simpler to understand and make decisions. Basically, I think they overthought everything and made it too complicated.
If they want to go in depth with something, how about making more offensive and defensive formations available?
Tons of stuff needs to be worked out, and quite frankly I think I pay too much for the baseball but its fun so I dont mind. If I had to spend an hour studying every players grades in detail, I wouldnt think its so fun and more like work, which I would not pay to play...
