Special Teams suggestions

Currently, the kickoff lineup includes 8 starters and 2 reserves. I sure wouldn't want my starting offensive tackles out there.

One possibility would be to add the gunners to the kickoff unit, and maybe go 6-8 gunners deep. The hands team has HT1 thru HT6, so the kickoff team can go up to Gun1 thru Gun6.

Alternately, to allow owners to substitute starters out if they choose for multiple special teams formats, you can replace several of the special teams roles with a "Miscellaneous Special Teams - Big Guy" or "Tackling Guy" and "Miscellaneous Special teams - Speedy Guy" or something like that.

I'd also like to be able to define the WB positions, which i'm sure is in the works.

Great game, keep up the good work guys.

The Special Teams lineups are supposed to select from your backups; I'll have to look into this if it is putting your starters in. Of course, a couple of starters may slip in if they are also backups at other starting positions.

Going to dedicated Special Teams roles is probably a good long-term option. Using the Gunner position is good from a tactical standpoint, as the skills used by a Gunner are the same that the kickoff unit needs, but I'd have to create a separate role name.
