It seems to me that perhaps prestige is over weighting the recent years, case in point: The Detroit Devastation have the 4th best winning % in league history, are 3rd in playoff appearances and have a title under their belt - all within the past 12 years.
The Devastation are 10th in prestige ranking trailing, among others, San Francisco whose winning % overall is 56 points worse than Detroit and who have made exactly one playoff appearance in 13 years.
Pause for thought.

It probably has something to do with the fact that you've had a losing record for the last 3 years. An extreme decline since you're even more extreme .759 winning percentage in 1956.

Still I think that for that much prestige to disappear in only three years is unrealistic .

It wouldn't be hard to extend prestige to 10 years instead of 5, I think this is set up as a league-by-league preference now anyway.

Very true. It wasn't the only factor, but definitely one that caused it. I didn't see your roster, but is your current team and MiLB team also factored into prestige somehow? Like how good your players are and their previous stats?
