Time still running after kickoffs?

00:35. BOS --- ROC 30 Rochester lines up for the kickoff.
Robbie Winters kicks off for the Reapers.
Kick hang time: 3.86 seconds.
The ball is caught in the end zone by Franklin Coates.
Franklin Coates returns the kick to the BOS 22.

00:15 BOS 1/10 BOS 22 1st and 10 for the Patriots, they line up in a Pro Set; the Reapers line up in a 4-3.

Time expires before the snap.
00:00 BOS --- BOS 22 End of 3rd quarter.

Yeah, I've noticed this in a few of my games. Any idea what's going on here, Chris?

The clock is restarted after the return except in the last two minutes of the second quarter and the last 5 minutes of the fourth quarter.

"With the exception of the last two minutes of the first half and the last five minutes of the second half, the game clock will be restarted following a kickoff return, a player going out of bounds on a play from scrimmage, or after declined penalties when appropriate on the referee?s signal."
