I've sent BuzzCur a U2U message, but is this something Admin can fix in the meantime? Is Tyson still checking in on this board or do we need to post something to Support?

The [url=http://beta.simdynasty.com/depth.jsp?teamid=36479]Betacubs roster[/url] is not set, which has caused the league to pause. Why didn't ABE autopromote enough players to fix the roster?I've sent BuzzCur a U2U message, but is this something Admin can fix in the meantime? Is Tyson still checking in on this board or do we need to post something to Support?

I believe Tyson is out of town for two weeks so this will fall to Jet.

Guys, I've found the progress of the league too unpredictable for me to be of any use. I'm sure you can find a better owner -- one who'll help the league do useful research. So if there's a replacement in sight, hand him the keys. In the meantime, I've set a lineup, etc.Buzz

Too bad you are not sticking around BuzzCur...you actually helped us find another bug. ABE should have autopromoted players to your roster, but it did not, thus causing the league to pause. Hopefully Jet (or Tyson when he gets back) will be able to figure out what happened.(Does that encourage you to stick around? :lol: )

I'll stick as long as I'm of any use, but I'm thinking a more dedicated owner would be a better help with the process.

The beta leagues are a bit of an different animal. Running on a different database and under Tyson's mad scientist tweaks, so I'm a little tenative about making changes to it. But, let me see if I can get you guys going.-Jet

I believe it's more likely that there is no schedule for this league. But, again the normal indicators of a schedule and it being set do not necessarily apply for the beta league. Hopefully games will start up again tomorrow. If they do not, let me know and I'll tinker some more.
Unfortunately, most likely the league will have to be on hold until Tyson can look. Just to tell it to you straight, he is out of town on business, but he will check in periodically if he can. But, his time will be limited and this will likely be a lower priority.

I've poked around a bit and the data for the league is missing a bunch of things. You're not on pause, so in theory games should run. I'm not entirely sure the roster not being set would cause the league to pause. In the past, ABE would just play with whoever the team had. Playing pitchers as hitters if necessary.I believe it's more likely that there is no schedule for this league. -Jet [/quote]When I looked this morning, the Chicago (NL) team only had eight players on the active roster. The first games of the season ran, but the schedule stopped when it got to the LA - CHN game, which is what led me to believe that the roster issue caused the league to pause.
In any case, it looks like we are on hold until Tyson returns from his trip. As Hamilton mentioned, thanks for looking into it, Jet.
