Updated through the 1956 season. Probably by the end of the decade we can start talking about getting the MPL HoF started.

Some interesting facts:

- Nobody has repeated as MVP, but despite the Crullers early league dominance, the NY Times have had the last six straight winners
- Ray Clack has proven why he was the 1st pitcher taken in the 1950 draft, as he has won 4 CYAs (including one in the AL) and 4 ERA titles
- Brian Roberson was a saves monster for the first 6 seasons, but since the trade to NYN he now backs up teammate Howard Castillo who is the new NL Fireman. TEX Terry Hernandez and WAS Mike Dick have been taking turns as the AL Firemen.
- No MPL player has hit 40 HRs in a season yet

lol! I find this information is helpful come time to start a HoF. We are getting close to that time when the stars of the original draft are retiring. And if we are going to start a HoF, we need to remember who the dominant players in the 50s were before their stats get overwhelmed by the players who end up with 15+ years of playing time.

So we've had 10 ten seasons of play, and a lot of the 1950 initial draft class are still active and getting it done, so it might not be time for the Hall of Fame yet. But here are some interesting observations.

MVPs: The only two-time winner is Jimmy Simmons. The Crullers, the clear team of the decade with 5 WS wins, never had one.
Cy Youngs: Lots of repeat winners, including RP Terry Hernandez. Both Ray Clack and George Kuehne have won awards in both leagues. Umberto Goya is the only player to have won a Rookie of the Year award and another major award so far.
Firemen: Terry Hernandez, Mike Dick and Brian Roberson has dominated this category, which is not surprising because they were the closers on the most dominant teams of the decade.
HRs: Still nobody has hit more than 40 in a season.
