Inning: 3 Minnesota
Gus Newhauser WALKs.
Tommy Landrith lays down a bunt to the first baseman. He is thrown out at first with the second baseman covering the bag. RUNNERS ADVANCE (2nd.)
John Drew grounds out to the shortstop.
Todd Frazier SINGLEs.
Jim Ape Law Kolp strikes out.
Runners left on base: 2

A C+ runner can't score from second on a single? Newhauser can't even go to THIRD??? What kind of single is that?

I've seen way way WAY too much of this this year. In all the Leagues. What is going on?

ABE hates you. He told me so.

Keep the laughs coming though. Thanks.

No, a C+ runner sure as heck cannot score from second on a single. C+ is slow! Come on. That single might have been hit hard right at an outfielder
C+ is probably like Jim Thome when he was young. Now he's C- or D+

Now an A speed guy who can't score, that's another story

Well, you'll have to forgive me, folks. I should probably not pay too close attention to how these runs are scored or NOT scored as the cases may be. I guess if we were talking about human players, and human third base coaches, then Newhauser's slow ass couldn't have advanced to third on a "single." But I just don't see how a single doesn't advance a base, unless it was an error. And it wasn't.

LOL! Bastard ABE! The best hitter on Minnesota, Todd Frazier, goes out with injury for 41 days!

ABE! Bastard in a basket!

Newhauser is on second, and holds there when the next batter grounds to SS. That is normal baseball, not advancing on a ground ball in front of you. Then a single DOES advance him to third. Being a C+ runner, it makes sense that he doesn't score. I don't see where there is a problem here.

Inning: 9 Minnesota
Willie Hernandez pitching.
Billy Browning strikes out.
Bob Olsen strikes out.
Roy Anderson DOUBLES.
Clint Moore SINGLES.
Roy Anderson SCORES.
Will McEnaney comes in from the bullpen to pitch.
Andres Mendoza SINGLES. (Moore on 2nd, Mendoza on 1st)
David Earle is pinch hitting for Rod Hausmann. Pinch hitting for the pitcher because it is the last at bat.
David Earle SINGLES. (No score for Moore)
Wesley Lyons grounds out to the third baseman.
Runners left on base: 3

I'm sorry, folks. Is this something to do with "stealing" settings? Because even if Moore is a C-speed, he should score. This is not a sudden thing. Somehow ABE determined, as ABE has been determining (somehow) that in the most crucial moment of the game (yet again), the 2nd baserunner is not scoring on a single.

Worst yet, shouldn't Moore have been pinch run for? I've got A- speed Joe Meyers sitting on the f*cking bench! What is going on? I know I've got the settings set for pinch-running the lead runner.

SOB. So in settings, for some reason I have "Keep at least (blank) players on the bench to pinch-hit for pitchers" as TWO. Why did I do that? Because of this, Meyers is "held back" instead of being, as the last available batter with speed, a pinch runner. He's a pinch hitter for the pitchers, but not available to pinch run. Which I can't understand.

Should it be ZERO pinch hitters for pitchers? I'm confused and I'M TIRED OF BEING CONFUSED HERE.
