I realize that Tampa waived them outright but why should they be listed as requiring options ?

I realize that Tampa waived them outright but why should they be listed as requiring options ?

I think this is probably a bug in all leagues, on beta and the main site. If you waive a player from the majors who has options, this probably happens.I'll look into this today.

Any player waived from the minors will still go through the waiver process

I waived them from the minor leagues, they're not being optioned from majors to minors, they're just being waived.Any player waived from the minors will still go through the waiver process

bart - I think he's saying they should be going through minor league options rather than major league.Tyson
