I voted for STL because they're dominating a hitter's league, but did anyone check out Cleveland. They actually have 5 quality starters.April 16, 2004 at 03:28PM View BBCode
I have to go with St. Louis, too. But, I think every team excluded from the list would like to be on it.April 16, 2004 at 05:02PM View BBCode
You're right, I simply went with the top 20 SP in ERA. If a team had two I included it. There's much more than ERA to a dominant starting pitcher. I knew this would be an opinion poll that wouldn't be exact. Maybe someone should submit a list of teams with starters that were overlooked. Cincinnati lacks even one dominant starter, so you can exclude me. I'm suffering from starting pitcher envy.April 16, 2004 at 11:32PM View BBCode
I voted for Cleveland but I'm not even convinced those are their two best pitchers. I know those two and DeWillis were all taken in the first 6 rounds, though. That's cause I looked them up last time they shut me down.April 17, 2004 at 12:43AM View BBCode
Brooklyn's not on the list but they will be in a year or two. They have six pitchers, 3 starters and 3 relievers 24 yrs old or less(most are 22 or under). They range from A- to B-. It seems like they're taking their lumps now, they'll be hard to beat later.April 17, 2004 at 02:52AM View BBCode
I had an answer for Cleveland my series. Somehow my team swept them.April 17, 2004 at 05:06PM View BBCode
Highlanders, how did I miss that? sorry you're right. NY even has a third starter at #18. Boy is the AL deep in starting pitching!Pages: 1
