Empires make some internal decisions

Trying to keep everything private in the organization is something very hard for the mighty New York Empires team. As hard as they try to keep their problems private, some news is starting to leak. When Gorman Reese was put on the DL it wasn't because of an on field injury. It was due to a bar fight with one of the Milwaukee players(Who hasn't been named) at a Milwaukee bar following an Empire loss. Also Bill Brown was initially said that he had an injury, but wasn't put on the DL. After further leaks we have discovered that his poor performance this year may be due to a substance abuse problem, and he has been attending a detox program. He is scheduled to return when the team decides he is ready. All of these problems coupled with poor on field performance has caused the GM, and manager to take a deeper look. The manager said in a press conference. " We just don't have the chemistry right now. We can't hit or pitch, and we blow every close game. It's time to shape up or ship out. I will play the players that give us the best chance to win no matter how good some of the players THINK they are. We are the Empires for crying out loud. It's time to start acting like. Sometimes I wonder if we are going to be like the other New York team!"
It would be a bad day for New York fans, as the Evil Empire hasn't every really contended, but with the REAL Empires struggling many people are wondering if Football season could start a little early this year.

That's hilarious. It's always fun to see you guys take shots at the AL. I may be bringing my SimDynasty career to an abrupt end by saying this but the AL is like a T-ball league. Peck, maybe you should trade away all of your young talent to a team that may actually be able to compete in a couple of years.....namely that St. Louis ballclub. We're all about hugs, not drugs.

Reports out of Milwaukee is that the Milwaukee player is Lucky Dogg. It has been a tough start for the reigning Cy young winner. Trade rumors and no contract extension has gotten under his skin. According to an inside source....Reese told Dogg that he should have retired last year and that he has an arm like a bean bag chair. Following the fight he spent the night in jail and was released the next day.
