Server Upgrades - Outage Wednesday night/Thursday morning

We are going to upgrade our database and database connectors on Wednesday night/Thursday morning starting around midnight. The site may be unavailable during this time. We hope it will not take more than 1 hour.

This upgrade will help database performance. We are hopeful it will help website performance, particularly the few times per day when the site becomes slow and services need to be restarted.

Please plan accordingly for this outage if you need to access your teams.

We've been archiving one of our bigger database tables today in anticipation of these upgrades. Better safe than sorry. I apologize for the performance issues today.

Being on the west coast sure helps! Of course, my hosting company is in Virginia, so it sucks to be them. But it's what we pay the big bucks for.

Ok, the upgrade is complete. Please let me know if you see any problems. Everything looks good to me. If it looks like an emergency, please mark it as urgent so I can check right away.

We're going to restart the web service one more time in about 5 minutes. After that, we should be up for good.

I love San Diego :-) Graduated from University there and loved the climate.
