Here are my draft preferences. If some others would care to share their preferences, it might help all of us in the future.
Totally Balanced
Pitchers - 100
Velocity: 41 Control: 49 Endurance: 2
Throws Left: 0 Throws Right: 2 Youth: 2
Health: 2 Defensive Arm: 1 Defensive Range: 1
Batters - 100
Power Vs R: 21 Power Vs L: 13 Speed: 8
Contact Vs R: 25 Contact Vs L: 16 Youth: 2
Health: 3 Defensive Arm: 2 Defensive Range: 10
Btw, can you rate pitchers higher than batters (for example) by having pitcher ratings add to more than 100?

My preferences for the initial draft were set as follows:
Pitchers
Velocity 30 Control 44 Endurance 7
Throws Left 0 Throws Right 4 Youth 10
Health 5 Defensive Arm 0 Defensive Range 0
Batters
Power Vs R 33 Power vs L 20 Speed 15
Contact Vs R 8 Contact vs L 3 Youth 10
Health 5 Defensive Arm 3 Degfensive Range 3
I feel that my draft would have been better (we all want better results) if I would have chosen Totally Balanced instead of my choice of Well Rounded.

I drafted with the following settings:
Pitchers - 100
Velocity: 25 Control: 51 Endurance: 2
Throws Left: 0 Throws Right: 1 Youth: 20
Health: 0 Defensive Arm: 1 Defensive Range: 0
Batters - 100
Power Vs R: 31 Power Vs L: 21 Speed: 3
Contact Vs R: 18 Contact Vs L: 11 Youth: 16
Health: 0 Defensive Arm: 0 Defensive Range: 0
The result was that I got the control I wanted for my pitchers and I got the power I wanted for my hitters, but I have no defense at any position. The guys on the field are either decent with the arm, but have no range, or have no range and a decent arm. In most cases, we're looking at D's and F's in either range or arm for the starters who play the field. Pitchers are kind of up and down across the board. But, I have youth on my side when it comes to pitching. Almost all of my pitchers should gain some experience and get better the next couple years since they're all starting. No idea why I only drafted one extra SP and one extra RP in the initial draft. And the difference between 16 and 20 from batters to pitchers in the youth category resulted in much older field players than pitchers.
Everything looks o.k. for this squad to be middle-of-the-road for the first year or two. But, I'm a little concerned and will need some help down the road with the amatuer drafts to fill in my position players with a little more youth. It seems like there were a plethora of good 2B and 3B available in the draft, and most of them were older. That could lead to alot of scrambling in the next few years. The problem it seems to present is that most of us have holes on our current roster with better players at other positions who can't find a spot on the field to play. At least that's what I'm going through right now. But, we'll see what happens. I think all the trade offers that have been floating around are good and should help balance some of the teams by the middle of this season.
