I've added functionality so you can download fielding stats into Excel. Let me know if you have any feedback.

You are viewing the raw post code; this allows you to copy a message with BBCode formatting intact.
Well, I downloaded the fielding stats (although I don't know how I will use them) and found an EMPTY spreadsheet.... headers there, but no players.

there is info there. I do have a coupl eof questions, though.
1. I see the +/- rating isn't included in the export. Is there a reason for this? I'm not as concerned about Range Factor and CS% and all the information is included to calculate this.
2. I notice the export is not available for the team view. Will this be changed once the bugs are worked out of the individual download?
3. What would people find more useful? Overall fielding stats on one line, regardless of positions played, or each player broken out by positions played? How much additional load on the server would it be to export in such a fashion?

Casey - it seems to work for me, can you try again? I tried it logged in as you.
1. I've added plus/minus.
2. I've added this in.
3. I'm not sure, I can do it one way or the other and it is pretty straight forward to do it one way or the other. What do people think?

Interesting.... downloaded the fielding spreadsheet again with the same results... NO PLAYERS listed. I am attempting to attach the spreadsheet. Hopefully it is successful and you can see for yourself.

Are the batter and pitcher stats working for you?
You use a Mac, right? Which browser are you using?

The Team export which gives the whole league's stats in one simple download does not show what team the player is on/was on. That's just in keeping things consistent with the Team exports for Pitching and Batting.
Assists is spelled wrong in the export (it is currently spelled "Assits"). Too nit-picky?

The batter and pitcher spreadsheets are working for me. The fielding stats are not.
Using a MacBook Pro; OS X 10.5.6; Safari version 3.2.1.
Just downloaded the fielding spreadsheet with Firefox version 2.0.0.16 - no players listed.
I use Excel Macintosh 2008 version 12.1.5

I'm on a Mac, OS 10.5.6, Safari 4 public beta, opened using Open Office 3, and it worked fine. What you opened with probably shouldn't matter, right?

Individual Fielding download - No players listed
Team Fielding download - success, players listed... however the teams column is missing... had to search for my team by player name.

I corrected the spelling of Assists and added Team info.
