Good job, Klobas! Thank you very much. I had no idea my team was second best all time in the AL. The Stars have been under 500 for the 6 or so years that I've been their manager, but it looks like we have a good chance at a winning season this year.

Philadelphia is oh-so-proud of our sustained mediocrity! 25 seasons, not one playoff appearance... and yet we're in 5th all time? Man, that's a lot of 75 win seasons!

And I hadn't realized the River Cats were 1st in all time wins in the NL. I'll do my best to keep that record current! Thanks klobas!

updated for 1976. Kudos to Brooklyn for leapfrogging not one, but two teams this year in the overall standings!

Updated through 1979.
Once again I wish we had a way to post in columns.
I have added the number of 'Games Behind' each team is behind the leader. Cleveland has a staggering 613 game lead over Detroit.
Since the last update in 1976, Washington has leapfrogged KC and Baltimore to take fourth place, and Baltimore has fallen from fourth to sixth. Boston has passed Chicago meaning that Chicago (A) is the worst team in VCL history.
The NL has remained static, with STL having a slight 24 game lead over NYN. I expect to see this lead grow over the next few seasons as NYN seems on a downturn.

It wasn't until you passed opinion on my team. Which caused me to pass mine on this so called measure of success thread. Its all about the rings.

I'm with Klobas on this one. Get over it, BP. This is a thread that simply measures W-L records. Klobas is merely stating facts about what a team's record has been year after year.
What he said here:
The NL has remained static, with STL having a slight 24 game lead over NYN. I expect to see this lead grow over the next few seasons as NYN seems on a downturn.
Is based on patterns he sees in W-L records and also on a cursory roster glance.
No one is downplaying all of the championships you have won, and they are certainly impressive, but this thread counts W's and L's. If you want to start a thread about All-Time playoff records and championships, go right ahead.
