New Tired Bars

Based on your input, I gave the colored tired bars another crack. These show up on the Roster screen.
I haven't updated the column header yet, it should now have a column called Energy, instead of Tired.
What do you think about this version? I'm not crazy about the grey background, maybe a lighter shade of grey would make it work.

Excellent -- much better this way. I wouldn't change a thing. :)

I agree -- looks much better now, and makes it more obvious at a glance how rested everyone is.

Another thought on fatigue. Wonder if it might not be better for players who reach that mandatory rest point -- where they would automatically sit out the next game -- to instead be allowed to continue playing at some significantly diminished capacity, and with more vulnerability to injury. That would leave more of the decision-making in a manager's hands by not automatically replacing a guy.

I agree, that's how it should be. I'll add this as an enhancement at some point.
It was fairly straight forward to set up the automatic rest thing (I actually just "pretend" the guy is injured for 1 game). So I just did that for now.

does a player have to sit out when there is one box left or none
do players recover if they are given a day off before their bar is down and also how much do they recover
and do they recover if the whole team has a day off

Would it be possible to implement an option where you can click "rest for 1 day, rest for 2 days", etc. and choose that way?
The reason I suggest is- if we (the managers) have access to our roster once per day- in my case, in the evening after work, and we make a lineup change, it affects 3 or 6 games.

I think its a good idea, but difficult to do.
The good news is that if you leave the guy in your lineup, the sim will put a sub in for you. But then again, other folks are suggesting you should be able to play this guy, but at a decreased ability. Still haven't fully thought through this, as you can see.
Eventually, I'd like to have it so that you could set your lineup day-by-day. But that will take some time to get together.
So I guess in the meantime, just leave the guy in. The sim does a decent job of making the subs.

To Ben's question...
A player is fully rested after sitting out a game, regardless of when it happens. The whole team will NOT recover on an off-day.
