15 GPD seems to be the most popular choice for pace, with 15 of 19 indicating this as an option and 5 of the 19 listing this as the only option.
I am going to lay out proposed rules. Let me know if you are still interested. If we get close to 16, I will create the signup stuff and we can get going with this.
The price of the league would be $80 for the first 17 seasons. Subsequent 17 season terms would cost $60.
15 games per day.
Maximum of 5 CPs traded for or away per season
Skills displayed as Letters
Injury system 3
Need 2 catchers at 75%
Games will be played at these times: 6, 7, 8, 10, 11AM, 12, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 PM
The league would start off fresh, meaning all player stats would be deleted and only active players would migrate over. I think this makes a more cohesive new league, with teams from so many leagues.
If you are still interested, please post that interest here. We will need at least 12-13 firm commitments. The list of people I have are:

I am in, 15 games is fine, 12 is my preference. Not having to do an initial draft will be sweet. How will the Am draft work? Assuming we start in 1950, which makes sense, then I suppose the Am draft will happen in 1951. I want Baltimore....

Is this strictly for people who were in leagues that got disbanded? Or can people who are looking for a new league join this as well?

We'll probably need a few guys to join from the outside to fill out the league. You'd have to take one of the teams from about 6 different leagues. If you're interested, let me know and I'll contact you when we are looking for folks.

It might be very interesting starting in 1950.

I 100% want to join. I'd want to do less than 15gpd. But if i have to do 15gpd i will.

I see 5 interested. Not nearly enough. Let's see how many more we get in the next few days.
Otherwise, I'll probably start a new league instead.

Just got your U2U, Admin. I am in for 15 or more gpd only.
Is there any way that we can start the league on October 22, 1950? All of these teams were about to have an offseason and amateur draft, so we'd in essence be playing two consecutive seasons without offseasons.

The Prince likes a 6 a day and if it comes then I will play but I do not care for so many games a day...............Stan

I would prefer 9 or 12 games per day. I would also be up for a new league if this doesnt happen.

I count 9 interested at this point, with perhaps 3 others from outside. If we have 12, lets start a campaign to get this going.
First, if no one objects, I would like to Commish. Or, at least Co- commish.
Tyson, how about you start the league, the 9 that are interested could sign up, then send a second newsletter with an update? ( or at least allow us to select teams, get to that point )
Did we decide on a name? Someone that retired and came back to play. Or, Dick Stuart, who could not field, but could hit a mile, and DH'd in the early years of DH'ing.

Although I qualify as an insider owner (from the RFL), I really would prefer a startup league from scratch if at all possible. 12+ gpd would be great.
The initial draft, and building a franchise from the start, has always been a big deal for me.
